Academy Founder and Directing Instructor
Evelyn Reed, the visionary founder of the Academy of Cinematic Arts, is an award-winning director with over 20 years of experience in the film industry. Her films have been screened at prestigious film festivals around the world, including Cannes, Sundance, and the Toronto International Film Festival. Evelyn's passion for filmmaking is contagious, and she is dedicated to helping her students develop their unique artistic voice and bring their visions to life on the screen. She teaches Directing I, Directing II, and Advanced Directing Workshop.

Marcus Chen
Cinematography Instructor
Marcus Chen is a highly acclaimed cinematographer with extensive experience in both feature films and television. He has worked on numerous award-winning productions, collaborating with some of the industry's most talented directors. Marcus's expertise in lighting, camera movement, and visual storytelling makes him a sought-after instructor. He teaches Cinematography I, Advanced Lighting Techniques, and Camera Operation & Techniques. Marcus holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Cinematography from the American Film Institute (AFI) and is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC).

He teaches Film Editing I, Advanced Editing Techniques, and Post-Production Workflow. Kenji Tanaka brings over a decade of experience in visual effects to the Academy of Cinematic Arts. He specializes in teaching compositing, motion graphics, and 3D modeling for film, empowering students to create stunning and believable visual effects. His classes cover industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
